Small Family Farewells
'No funeral' options to help farewell your person.
For many families, there is a need to acknowledge the passing of their loved one, but sometimes budget and/or large gatherings at funerals may be causing concern.
With a Small Family Farewell, (n.b. this is not a 'funeral service') you can still pay your respects – by gathering your immediate family together in our viewing room, to:

spend time with your deceased family member,

place sentimental items in the coffin,

reflect on a life lived with music and stories, and
-
provide a dignified send off for your loved one.
Following this, you and your family may choose to follow our hearse to Bunurong or Springvale Crematorium or cemetery of your choice*, where we will stop in the gardens of the cemetery grounds for you to say final farewells.

Our Small Family Farewell at just $5495 – for burial or cremation, includes:

Transportation of your loved one into our care,

Meeting with you at your home, our office or via zoom,

Mortuary care including dressing and, if required, preparation for viewing,

Nepean Coffin valued at $1295,

Private reflection time with your loved one, for up to 1 hour for up to 10 people,

Preparation and lodgement of all necessary documentation,
-
Registration of death with Dept. Births, Deaths & Marriages,

Our staff transport your loved one to your chosen cemetery or crematorium with option for your family to follow in cortège.
Cemetery fees including burial plot and interment charges or cremation fee are extra and vary depending upon which cemetery you choose.
Extra fees may be required in the following circumstances

Oversized coffin Size #1 +$250, Size #2 $400

Extra travel fees for collection of deceased person if > 100 kms from Dromana = POA
