Professional service fee
Single service
MPF Professional Service of $3995 includes:

Professional guidance, respect, compassion and attention to detail,

Basic mortuary care to prepare your loved one for cremation or burial,

Viewing at our Dromana care unit or funeral venue,

Funeral planning meeting with your family at home or in our office,

Booking and liaison with cemetery or crematorium,

Funeral service arrangements and co-ordination of suppliers,

Placement of newspaper notices if required,

Funeral notice on our website,

Staff to arrange and attend funeral service,

Hearse and driver – coach if required,
-
Lodgement of all government statutory documents,
-
Collection of cremated remains and delivery to family.

Our availability 24 hr / 365 days.
Dual service
Our dual service Professional fee is $4495 and includes all of the above elements with just $495 added to cover extra staff, time and travel costs for the second service. A dual service commences with a funeral ceremony in a chapel or other venue followed by travel to a cemetery for a burial service.

Our staff will bring your loved one into our care at any time 24/7.

Family attended funeral services
Venue
We conduct funerals at cemeteries, crematoriums, churches, chapels, sporting clubs, community halls, family homes, on the beach etc.
Prices start at $275 and vary depending upon location, room size required etc.
Cremation fees
Cremation fees start from around $1105 and vary depending upon venue, day, time etc.
Medical certificate for cremation authorisation fee – $88
Official Death Certificate from Dept. Births, Deaths & Marriages – $95
Burial costs
Contact your preferred cemetery to receive prices for the following considerations:
Interment fees – will apply for each burial,
Burial or mausoleum site – unless already purchased, please factor in this site fee,
Headstone – if required, we can refer you to trusted stonemasons,
Mausoleum interment – add $880 for embalming and certificate.

Funeral celebrant or Clergy
Most celebrants charge around $700 (some add GST) Clergy charge around $300.

If you plan to have a very simple service, or you have many people willing to provide eulogies, MPF staff offer to MC your service for $198.
Floral tributes
Double end sheath sizes 1M, 1.3M or 1.5M from $260 – $600
Single end sheaths from $180, Wreaths $90.

Media
DVD slideshow with music; prices start at $235 for any number of photos,
Entry and Exit music – $20,
Order of service booklets – 4 page/A5 from $3.50 ea,
Live streaming of the service and or graveside committal – from $685
RSVP registration and Condolence forms on our website
A personalised website page to advise family and friends regarding time / venue etc. where they can register to attend the funeral service. This assists you to monitor the number of attendees and to receive condolence messages by email (also saved in Pdf format for you to print and keep.

Option for viewing before the funeral
Viewing at our Dromana care centre is available to family members as an optional no-cost extra in our Professional service fee.

We know how it is to lose a loved one without warning, and that some people really need to say a personal good-bye prior to the funeral. Family members and friends who have not had the opportunity to connect with their loved one may need, and want, the chance to pay their private respects.
​
This may help with the grieving process while offering the opportunity to place sentimental items such as mementos, flowers or photographs in the coffin.
Should you desire, viewings can be arranged at Dromana at a time to suit you, anytime before the funeral, or at the funeral venue immediately prior to the service.
